A HANDSOME COUPLE!
We got a small flat and shortly after Pat's mother got sick again in December. Pat had our first son, Colan, and was still in hospital and her mother was so bad I had to talk to the doctor and ask to get Pat out of hospital early. Pat and I went back to our flat and after only three weeks her mother passed away and we went to live with her father and two brothers who were still at home. This was in the January.

Living with the in-laws. With no deposit saved and rental housing scarce, moving in with a wife's family was the ordinary first step, not a sign of trouble.
